I am a queer Black scholar-practitioner, first-generation college graduate, educator, and photographer. I work in Student Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, where I focus on first-year college transitions and the out-of-classroom experiences that stay with students long after they graduate.
My doctoral research in Higher Education uses visual ethnography to center the voices of queer and trans students navigating belonging in early college life. seen¢ered is where my scholarship, photography, and practice live together — committed to the people, stories, and lives that made this work possible.
